Stephen J. Schug, CFP® 

Steve is a Senior Advisor and founding partner of Crosspoint Wealth Advisors, LLC.

Steve graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 1977 with a degree in Business Administration and Economics and has been active in the financial services industry since that time. He began a total financial planning practice in 1985 and in 1990 was a co-founder of Capital Analysts of the Midwest, Inc. (CAMI).

Steve obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification in 1994 and became a General Securities Principal in 1998. He has served as a member of Field Advisory Committees at the national level in both the securities and life insurance industries. He was a charter member and 18 year qualifier for his former broker dealer's Circle of Excellence**, and is a current member of the President's Club* for Lincoln Investment.  Steve has served as a speaker at various industry conferences and has taught adult education classes on the subject of retirement planning.

The focus of Steve's practice is in helping business owners and professionals meet their estate and business succession goals. He and his partners have helped create numerous family foundations and charitable trusts. Steve has a particular emphasis in working with farm families and agribusiness companies.

Steve and his wife Pam live in Pendleton, Indiana, on a family farm dating to 1822. Steve is active in his church where he serves as a Stephen Minister. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis. Steve enjoys sports, music and various fitness activities. Steve and Pam enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
